To disseminate intellectual and academic production in the fields of teaching and research, enabling professionals from different areas to access the work of national and international researchers; to strengthen and promote the development of scientific production in Brazil and worldwide by providing technical and scientific materials to society as a whole, using accessible and inclusive language with open and free access, thereby facilitating human development and fostering continuous and lifelong quality education for all.

To achieve national and international recognition as a high-quality scientific journal, with open and democratic access, guided by a fair and transparent editorial process that adds value to the scientific community and society as a whole. To be a portal of information and education, democratically aligned with national and international standards.
